This unique dining table has been hand crafted by Soul Wood Co. in England in the Yorkshire Pennines. Soul Wood co. Manufactured furniture using traditional woodworking methods. They only use ethically-sourced Great British hardwood chosen especially for its exquisite character and grain. Each piece is rustic by design, the character of the wood being the focus of all pieces. All Soul Wood Co. timbers are sourced from local tree surgeons and timber yards across the United Kingdom.
This dining table is an unusually large wide at 196 x 120 cm. It has a solid 4 piece bookmatched English Wych Elm top that displays beautiful grain and configuration including spalting and a wonderful contrast between the rich chocolate tones of the heartwood against the pale sap wood. It features a mirrored live-edge on the long sides of the table. All sat on chunky square box frame metal legs.
The table top has been finished and fine sanded and left unfinished intentionally so you can match existing decor's finish or colour. If you would like the table top sealed and finished, Soul Wood Co. can treat the table top with Osmo oil or Danish oil free of charge on request after purchase. Osmo Oil leaves a wax finish with natural colour and Danish Oil will darken the wood shades slightly.
This is a beautiful piece of rustic furniture that is sturdy and seats up to 12 adults comfortably. It would be fantastic as a statement dining table or could be used as a conference table or in a retail setting.
